Beneath the Trees: A Tree Care Website

Have you ever visited a yard where the trees were bright green, magnificent, and oh-so lush? Did you find yourself wishing that your trees could look the same way? They can. They simply need the proper care. On this website, you will learn what that proper care entails. A lot of it comes down to proper trimming, but certain trees also thrive with fertilizer, extra water, or some wood mulch around their base. You'll also learn a bit about tree care companies and the services they provide, which will come in handy if you don't have the skills or equipment to do your own tree care.

Situations That May Require Removing A Tree And How To Do So Safely

Removing a tree from your property can be a big job, and tree removal needs to be done correctly to ensure the tree comes down without injuring anyone or damaging anything on the property. Often the best way to deal with a tree that needs to be removed is to hire a tree removal service. They can come and take the tree down and then haul the parts away.

Determining If Tree Removal Is Necessary

There are many reasons that tree removal may become necessary. Still, the most common reasons involve sick or damaged trees, trees causing damage to structures, or space restriction when building on the land. All of these reasons can come with different tree removal techniques, and leaving the job to a professional service is often the safest way to get the job done.

A tree that has internal rotting can be at risk of coming down in a storm or bad weather. Likewise, if you have a tree that has less than half of the canopy filling out during the summer, it is a good idea to have an arborist or tree removal service come and check the tree's health. Often this is a good indication that the tree is dying and should be removed before it comes down on its own.

Trees that hang over roofs or that have branches hitting your house or another structure on the property may also be a concern. In some cases, these trees can be trimmed back, but removing them may be the best solution if they are very close to the structure.

Safe Tree Removal

Working with a tree removal service is typically the best way to ensure nothing is damaged when removing the tree. The service will evaluate the tree, its location, and proximity to structures, power lines, and other trees, then determine the best way to remove it.

Often, a tree close to obstructions needs to be removed using a crane to support the tree as it is cut. Once the tree is cut loose from the base, the crane can fit it straight up and then swing it clear of obstructions and place it in a safe spot for the tree removal service.

If the tree is exceptionally tall, the tree service may opt to have a tree cutter use a bucket truck to reach the tree and cut it in sections. Cutting in small sections ensures control over each area and allows the tree to be removed in pieces that the crane operator can easily maneuver around obstacles.

If a bucket truck can not reach the tree, an experienced tree climber can climb up and cut the sections using climbing equipment. A good tree climber can get up the tree very quickly this way, and in some cases, the climber might be able to reach the top faster than waiting to get a bucket truck into position.
